VKontakte CEO Krasnova quits, board runs network from Mon

MOSCOW, Jul 3 (PRIME) -- Russian social network VKontakte’s General Director Marina Krasnova and Technical Director Alexander Tobol have decided to leave the company and deal with their own project, and the company will be managed by a collegial body from Monday, the social network’s owner, Internet company VK said in a statement.

“From July 3, 2023, social network VKontakte will be managed by a collegial body, a management team that will comprise representatives of VK’s top management and representatives of VKontakte’s management,” the statement read.

The management team will be in charge of operating processes, strategic decisions, and development of new directions of the social network.
